Directions to The Old Lewiston Inn


From San Jose Bay Area, Sacramento, and Los Angeles


  • North on Highway I-5 to Redding, CA

  • West on Highway 299 toward Weaverville & Eureka, stay on 299 (a curvy mountain road) for about 25 minutes

  • Take the Lewiston/Trinity Dam Road exit off 299 (marked about 4 miles after you pass the summit on 299)

  • Follow this exit about 4 miles, then left on Turnpike (which is the 2nd left past the smokehouse market and post office store)

  • Take a right on Deadwood Road, BEFORE you cross over the bridge.

  • The Inn is on the left side with frontage parking.
